Librairie is both an ebook reading and an ebook organizing app. This documentation is structured to teach you how to import your ebooks, manage them and then enjoy them in the app.
When you launch the app for the first time, you'll be asked to choose a cloud provider. This means that you have to choose from which source your ebooks will be synced automatically in the app. The possibilities are:
- Google Drive
- Librairie: this one means that you'll only be able to see the ebooks that you have manually uploaded from inside the app
If you choose one of the three first options, you will then be asked to enter your credentails to allow the app to connect to your cloud account. Once this is done, the sync will be initiated. You'll be directed to the library screen while the sync is performed.
Note: the sync may take a long time if you have a lot of ebooks in your cloud account and/or the servers are busy at the moment. Anyway, you do not have to stay in the app while the sync is running and you'll receive a push notification when it's over (if you have granted the app the ability to send you notifications of course).
This is in this screen that you will see your whole ebooks collections. You can access your ebooks either by scrolling them verticaly or by searching for their titles / author in the search field at the top. You can either navigate by tapping the letters in the right column that will send you to the first ebook starting by a given letter in the list.
Alternatively, you can have another view of your library based only of the covers of your ebooks. Just tap the 4 squares button to access to this "Collection View".
If you have added ebooks in your linked cloud account since you last synced it with the app, you can retrieve those ebooks by pulling down the ebooks list from the top.
You can also import your ebooks one by one by tapping the "import" button in the top tab bar (). You will be presented with a list of all the apps present on your device that you can import from. These apps have to support the iOS document provider mecanism to be in that list.
To delete ebooks from your library, you just have to swipe to the right on an ebook to make appear a "DELETE" button. Tap on this button and the ebook will be gone from Librairie but NOT from the cloud account from which it was imported.
Alternatively, in Colletion View, long press on the book you want to delete and a confirmation dialog will appear.

You can see directly the title, the author, the genres, the series, the description and the cover of the book. Please, note that if you tap on the cover, you will get a fullscreen view of it.
You can start the reading of an ebook by tapping the "Read" button in the bottom left corner of the screen. If you have not downloaded the ebook beforehand (by tapping the "Download" button in the bottom right corner of the screen) your ebook will then be streamed.
This means that your original ebook won't be downloaded and the text will be streamed from Librairie servers. This will not take any space on your device.
If you have already open the book, a button will appear in the toolbar. Tapping this button will resume the reading of your ebook at the last page read in your last session.

You can convert your ebook to another file format by tapping the button:
Once the conversion is completed, the app will try to export the converted file to another app and will invoke the iOS Share Sheet. The same thing will happen if you tap directly the "Share" button but of course it's the original file that will be shared and not the converted one. You can then select the app in which you want to import the file and the selected app will open.
Tapping on the button will send you to the "Edit Metadata" screen.
In this screen, you'll be able to edit directly the title, the author, the language, the genres, the series and the description. To change the cover art, tap on the cover itself.
You will then be sent to an in-app web browser to find a cover that fits the book. If the results retrieved by default do not satisfy you, do not hesitate to refine the search terms.
Once you have found the correct cover, make sure to really navigate to the image file (if your still in Google Image, ... "View original image") and tap "Select image"
